Community Conflict And Dispute Resolution Centre (CCDRC) is the initiative of Hon. Justice (Dr) Musa Danladi Abubakar,
Chief Judge Katsina State.
The Centre, which is under the supervision of Katsina Multi-Door Courthouse (KTMDCH) intends to build peaceful communities thrughout the State,
by providing a forum for members of the communities to communicate, address conflicts and work together to restore peace, by providing solutions that all parties
can agree and to improve and not to hurt the relationship.
To register a case with CCDRC, one has the option to physically visit any of the CCDRC centres. Walk into the Registrar's office and complete Form 1 (Request Form) stating the nature of the complain and some other relevant details.
Another form will be completed by the Centre and dispatched to the other party inviviting him/her to an amicable discussion and subsequent resolution of the case without unncessary litigation (Form 2). The other party (submitting party) has the option to accept
this honourable invitation in order to avert litigation or insist on the litigation procedure with the advent consequences. Where the party, agrees, the two parties are now invited on a specified day to attend the "Sulha" or "Mediation" (as the case may be) session.
Alternatively, the process could be initiated by filling the Request Form (Form 1) online using the link Request Form and submit same to the Registrar of Centre nearest to one's location.
