The Hon.Chief Judge of Katsina State Hon. justice (Dr.) Musa Danladi Abubakar,Npom has Inaugurated Small Claims Court on Wednesday,27th December,2023. The Court is designed to provide easy access to an informal, inexpensive and speedy resolution of simple debt recovery disputes in District Courts.Generally, the Court aims at providing judicial determination of disputes involving small claims not exceeding the sum of N5,000,000 excluding interest and cost.
Proceedings of the small claims court are regulated by by the Katsina State District Court Law Practice Direction 2023 issued by the Hon.Chief Judge.

During the inauguration, Barr. Jafar Shuaibu on behalf of the S.A Presidential Enabling Environment Council ( PEBEC) and Investment, Congratulated the Katsina State Judiciary and assured their commitments to continue providing technical support to Katsina State Judiciary in the operationalisation of the court.
